2000 Emiratis enrolled in American universities during 2012 This year's edition of the International Student Network's American Education Expo (ISN Expo) will be held in the UAE on 27 and 28 September in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, it was announced yesterday. The American Education Expo is supported by the US Department of Commerce and the US Embassy in UAE, organisers said in a press release.
The ISN American Education Expo provides an opportunity for students in the UAE who wish to study at an American University to learn first-hand about how to apply and also about the many available scholarships, which range from US$10,000 to full scholarships.
Representatives of the universities will be available at the Expo to answer any questions the students and parents may have in regards to the student visa process and application.
Top US Universities will be taking part in the Expo which will take place at the Beach Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi on 27 September and at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Dubai on 28 September, 2013, evening time, organisers said in a press release.
The participating Universities are Rider University, Goshen College, National University, Oklahoma City University, Saint Joseph's University, The American University of Rome, Full Sail University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Adelphi University, Illinois Institute of Technology, Living Arts College, Drury University, Drexel University and the WVU- Institute of Technology.
At the fair, full-tuition scholarships will be provided by Oklahoma City University and Saint Joseph's University.
Rider University and Drury University will offer scholarships worth US$16,000 and US$21,000, respectively.

In 2011, 94% of the students received a portion of US$8.8 million in financial assistance, and international students are given the opportunity to receive a merit-based full tuition scholarship.
Saint Joseph's University is the perfect mix of an urban and suburban campus located 10 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. Saint Joseph's University offers over 50 majors in our College of Arts'&' Sciences and Haub School of Business.
