Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and President of American University of Sharjah (AUS), has said that the University will bolster cooperation with international varsities .
The university is strengthening cooperation ties and exchanging of experiences in education, research and development with renowned global educational institutions in higher education field, he said this on the occasion of the graduation ceremony of 516 students of the American University of Sharjah held today at AUS City Hall.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah was also present on the occasion.
Sharjah Ruler expressed his happiness over the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which was signed between AUS and the University of Paris II, aimed at establishing educational and scientific partnership, especially in law, international security studies, economy, political administration and sciences, information and communication domains.
He congratulated the graduates and extended his greetings to the members of the Board of Trustees, university professors, management and all employees for their continued efforts which resulted in attaining prestige for the university.
The university upgraded its ranking this year occupying the 440 position among the best universities in the world in comparison to the last year's ratings.
