Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi Under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of Khalifa University's Board of Trustees, the university is hosting tomorrow a graduation ceremony at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi.
The graduation ceremony will see 350 undergraduate and graduate students receive their degrees.
This will be the second convocation of Khalifa University since it was created by a decree issued by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in 2007.
Dr. Arif Sultan Al Hammadi, Executive Vice President, Khalifa University, said: "Khalifa University has been educating students since 2007, and in that time we have seen students finish their programs and enter the work force. This ceremony will give the last few batches of students an opportunity to celebrate their achievement." Khalifa University announced the establishment of a new Alumni Association at the recent alumni gala dinner held at its main campus in Abu Dhabi. The Alumni Association is charged with developing events, programs and initiatives to connect the University with its alumni, employers, and current and prospective students.
