German University in Cairo
The first conference on civil aviation was kicked off Wednesday in the German University in Cairo.
The conference was inaugurated by chairman of the university's board of trustees Ashraf Mansour.
The three-day conference will tackle latest developments in the aviation sector at regional and international levels, in addition to exchanging experiences and ideas.
Minister of Transportation Ibrahim el-Demery, Civil Aviation Minister Abdul-Aziz Fadel, and other top officials were among attendees.
In his speech to the conference, Fadel asserted support to academic and scientific researches in the aviation domain.
The opening session took up the role of civil engineering in the establishment of airports and the privatization of services provided to passengers.
