Chairman of Board of trustees of Abu Dhabi University Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the Board of trustees of Abu Dhabi University, has affirmed that the development of education tops the national priorities, and gets attention from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Sheikh Hamdan made the remark when he received on Sunday evening at Al Nakheel Palace, the new members of the Abu Dhabi University's Board of Trustees, on the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the University.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, Humaid bin Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education, Dr. Hadef bin Joan Al Dhahiri, Minister of Justice and other senior officials, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan expressed his pride about the efforts exerted by the University, a national academy, which has adopted the excellence as a strategic choice.
"The message of the University is to serve the national objectives through preparation of qualified national human resources in various fields and sciences", he added.
