The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has concluded, recently, its annual summer initiative titled “We Start with you” for school and university students. The two month program was supervised by Sharjah Training and Development Centre and was attended by 20 male and female students.

The training course covered many key topics related to career development and the value of work in life. Students learnt several important experiences and were motivated to work, adopt positive values, enter the job market and achieve their full potentials. They were given the opportunity to apply their skills in real workplace settings at the SCCI.

The closing ceremony was attended by Mohammed Ahmed Amin, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business sector at the SCCI, who delivered a speech of thanks to students for their positive behavior and outstanding performance during the course. He stressed the SCCI ongoing commitment to the CSR programs through a series of initiatives which are aimed to contribute to the UAE Vision 2021.

He extended thanks to the Sharjah Training and Development Centre for their dedication, since their inception, to the training and development of the national human resources.

The course included theoretical and practical training and focused on interactive experiences as well as on humanvalues and professional ethics.

Students extended thanks and appreciation to the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the skills they learnt during the course. They commended the chamber’s great efforts to develop the young generation and help them enter the job market.
