Behind the scenes of Fast and Furious 7 in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi - Arab Today

twofour54, the commercial arm of the Media Zone Authority-Abu Dhabi will be the first to release behind-the-scenes footage from the Fast and Furious 7 production in Abu Dhabi from 2pm (GMT+4) on 24th March. The clip is being exclusively released in UAE six hours ahead of global distribution.
The behind the scenes featurette showcases the best locations in Abu Dhabi and exclusive interviews with the cast and crew while filming in Abu Dhabi. The featurette release comes ahead of the blockbuster's world premiere in Los Angeles, California, USA on 1st April attended by the film's cast and crew as well as international teams who have worked on the production overseas.
James Wan, director of the film says in the clip, "Here we are at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. It's a little different to what the Fast and Furious franchise has seen in the past. We are one of the first Hollywood films to showcase Abu Dhabi for Abu Dhabi and we cannot be more excited to be here."
Commenting on the cast's experience, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, one of the film's main stars said: "When I arrived in Abu Dhabi, I said that falls right in line with where we need to be."
Directed by James Wan, production for the film first commenced in November 2013 and was the latest major Hollywood production to be filmed in Abu Dhabi, attracted by the Emirate's unique locations, twofour54 TV and film services, experienced crew and Abu Dhabi Film Commission's production incentive, which comes in the form of a 30% rebate on qualifying spend in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The Abu Dhabi production commenced when the film's visual effects unit came to the UAE's Capital to secure helicopter shots, stunt footage and a variety of visual effects work. Later in the project, approximately 120 cast and crew, including actors Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, joined the crew in Abu Dhabi to continue production. Throughout their time in the UAE, twofour54 was there to deliver world-class production services on the film.
