SMC has unveiled host of television and radio programmes
The Sharjah Media Corporation (SMC) has unveiled a host of television and radio programmes to cover the activities of the 32nd edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2013), which will take place at Expo Centre Sharjah
from 6th-16th November, with huge participation of local, Arab and international exhibitors.
SMC's TV coverage will include several programmes broadcast at different times in the mornings and evenings, starting with three and a half hours live TV coverage of the opening of SIBF 2013, in order to ensure a comprehensive live broadcast of the event's atmosphere for the audience.
A number of guests and visitors will be interviewed about their impressions of the region's largest book event, as well as highlighting events and activities running alongside the fair. These include cultural and children's events as well as SIBF's cooking corner.
The TV team will include Director Ghazi Bakjah, presenter Ali Al Sharif, Mohammed Majid Al Suwaidi, and Mohammed Al Ferjawi, as well as the programme team.
Sharjah TV viewers also will be able to watch a number of additional programmes, such as Testimonies from the Fair prepared by Raad Aman and directed by Mohammed Elwah, during which a number of different faces and public figures will be interviewed to talk about the fair.
One hour for reading a book, presented by Reem Saif and Ahmed Majid and directed by Ahmed Al Nazwani and Mohammed Al Bahrai, will interview writers about their books and experience as authors.
The list of TV programmes also includes two programmes dedicated to children, entitled Let us Read, presented by Shahd Hashem and directed by Mona Abdul Aziz, and Five Reading, which is presented by a group of children and directed by Nasser Al Mal
