Dubai Press Club, in collaboration with ANSA, Italy's largest multimedia company and one of the top companies worldwide, will organise, under the patronage of the Italian Ministry and Foreign Affairs, the Emirati-Italian Strategic Partnership Forum, on Tuesday, 14 April in Dubai.

Director of Dubai Press Club Muna Busamra said that the event aims to increase the club's role in developing the media industry and enhance professional cooperation with local, regional and international media outlets. More importantly, she continued, the forum will boost media cooperation between UAE and Italy as well as explore the prospects of cooperation in vital sectors in both countries.

For his part, ANSA's CEO Giuseppe Cerbone said that the event aims to provide the means to increase communication, commercial, economic and cultural cooperation between Europe and the Arab World, and in particular between Italy and the United Arab Emirates.

Senior officials and government representatives will take part at the Emirati-Italian Strategic Partnership, including Director General of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dubai Hamad Buamim and Director General of National Media Council and Emirates News Agency, WAM, Ibrahim Al Abed.

Leading figures from Italy will also be present including Italian Ambassador to UAE Giorgio Starace, EU Ambassador to UAE Carlo De Filippi, among other important representatives of Italian companies operating in the United Arab Emirates.

ANSA will provide Italy and Europe with multimedia coverage of the conference in Italian, English and Arabic.
