du has announced a complimentary WiFi connectivity for Dubai Metro commuters during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
#30DaysofSharing gives the U.A.E. community the chance to do good from anywhere and everywhere. And with complimentary WiFi provided by du for all passengers on Dubai Metro this Ramadan, travellers can share their special moments while helping those in need, the company said in its release yesterday.
Under the hashtag #30DaysofSharing, social media users on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are invited to share the things that make Ramadan special to them. "For every post made with the #30DaysofSharing hashtag attached, du will donate Dh 10 to its annual Mawaed Al Rahman Iftar tables initiative, from which Iftar meals are distributed to those less fortunate." Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Commercial Officer, du, said: "Providing complimentary WiFi will allow Dubai's commuters to enjoy a higher level of seamless connectivity. The ability to connect anywhere, at any time, empowers people with the ability to be more productive, and to stay in touch with the things that matter most to them – something that we consider to be important at a time such as the Holy Month of Ramadan."
