The British luxury car maker has shared details on the Phantom Limelight Collection, the latest line of bespoke models out of its workshops in Goodwood, England. The new limited edition will consist of just 25 cars.
Designed exclusively for prestigious clients with high expectations, the new luxury sedan is defined by its lavish cabin, which is decked out in an artful combination of refined wood, leather and embroidery.
Among the key features is the Phantom Suite, a system of exclusive and customizable storage compartments built into the rear doors, allowing chauffeured passengers to keep their personal effects close by at all times. The standard configuration comes in two versions: one tailored to women with a makeup case and a dedicated perfume holder (up to three flacons) and one for men with a hidden compartment for stowing multiple watches.
Refinery and relaxation
To maximize comfort, Rolls-Royce's engineers consulted health professionals to develop an entirely new rear passenger seat designed to maximize relaxation. The Phantom Limelight will be the first model to feature the new seat, which reclines at an angle of precisely 27 degrees and includes a cushioned headrest, a leg rest angled at 68 degrees and a foot rest at 30 degrees. As if all of this wasn't relaxing enough, the cabin also has a calming ambiance lighting system with two settings.
The 25 models in the Phantom Limelight Collection will be made to order, and Rolls-Royce is now accepting orders. Naturally, the price of this bespoke sedan is not disclosed, but buyers can expect to pay upwards of £600,000 (around $900,000).
The launch of the new model follows the presentation in Geneva last March of the Phantom Serenity, a one-off model with a hand-decorated interior geared towards calm and relaxation.
