Bridge Shelves is simple design concept
If you are into minimalism and simple decorations, this is something you'll definitely like! Bridge Shelves is a simple design concept that adds a touch of elegance to any living environment. It can be completely disassembled and flat-packed
for convenient delivery. We've spotted the Bridge Shelves project on archidesignclub and we really wanted to share it with you too. This dashing shelving unit was designed by Outofstock and produced by the Danish company, Bolia. Inspired by suspension bridges, to be more specific by two of the most outstanding engineering marvels, the Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco Bay) and the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge (Awaji Island, Japan), the lovely decoration item is both, resistant and functional.
Bridge Shelves consists of four pieces of oak wood: a baton attached horizontally to the wall and three shelves of different lengths, one beneath another. Like the bridges mentioned above, the shelves are held by some bent metal rods, which come in two different colours: green or white, depending on your preferences. You can personalise the unit shelving and figure out how to arrange the wooden plates by simply moving them along the baton. A simple, neat and elegant home décor item! Do you find it useful?!
