Inspiration for the design came from an antique bowl
London - Arab Today

Inspiration for the design came from an antique bowl The combination of fluidity and elegance with modern convenience makes the Juliet bathtub ideal for homeowners and hotel guests who appreciate glamor in the bath.”The Juliet freestanding tub, just introduced as part of MTI’s Boutique Collection, is distinguished by its dramatic fluid lines and asymmetrical, organic shape,” notes Audrey Newsome who created the tub in collaboration with MTI’s President and Chief of Design Russell Adams. The inspiration for the design came from an antique bowl, which evoked something striking and unexpected.
“What makes it unique is that as your viewing angle changes, so does its shape to your eyes,” notes Newsome. “The form moves with you. At one particular angle the infinity symbol is evident by the tub’s asymmetrical design. And it’s versatile with a shape which crosses the lines of traditional and transitional, and yet is also ideal for a contemporary bath space.” Manufactured  in MTI’s proprietary, organic and incredibly durable Engineered Solid Stone™*, the Juliet is available as a soaker or air bath and features an integral pedestal and integrated slotted overflow with a chrome toe-tap drain.
