With an impressive set of world class facilities offering beauty, sports, health fitness options, the place is fast developing as an ultimate fitness and lifestyle destination in Abu Dhabi.
Vogue Fitness, NuYou Spa, Watercooled and Bounceback are some of the names that lend credibility to that claim.
For instance, Vogue Fitness has launched fully functional outdoor training sessions with adrenaline-fuelled fitness sessions in the surroundings of Yas Marina. This is in addition to the boot camp that promises a high intensity workout in the promenade area.
Emma Thompson, a British expat and mother of two, said her family loves the facilities at Yas Marina. "We are regulars at the Island. It is a perfect family destination for us because our kids have loads of fun activities, while my husband and I get to focus on fitness training,” said Thompson.
Another great attraction is Bounceback, a fully comprehensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation service.
Physiotherapists here have extensive experience and are trained to provide a variety of treatments such as the McKenzie method, clinical Pilates and acupuncture that treat neck pain, sport injuries, and pre and post natal pains, to name a few. There are also specialists to treat golf-related injuries and help improve swing mechanics.
