Tunisian National Television announced the shooting of “whirlpool” series first scenes ,that is scheduled to be aired in Ramadan , it is 17 episodes ,with 60 actors, 23 are in leading roles like Wagiha El Gandoby ,Lotfy El Abdaly, Asmaa Bin Othman and other TV stars .
Huge sets have been prepared for this drama ,using the latest techniques and equipment ,along with the scenes that will be shot abroad . This Drama tells a story of an old rival between two peasants families, every generation implicates the next one ,despite the love affairs between some of the actors and actresses .
On the other hand , the privately owned “Tunisian dialogue” TV channel is working on a new part of the controversial TV series “ Mofida’s Sons” which was ranked in the first place during last Ramadan ,attracting a lot of viewers and advertisements . The channel is also working on shooting “Lighthouse” series, and another contemporary social one of 15 episodes ,45 minutes for each one .
Starring many stars , the series revolves around a close professional relationship between two friends goes through troubles on the appearance of a woman with different way of thinking. The series also deals with different issues facing Tunisia .
Private Channel Nine is also preparing for a third part of the series “Police” ,which helped the channel to be well known after airing the first two parts . The deal came after promising the stars who participated before to get their full financial rights for the previous parts.
