Egyptian actress Soheir Ramzy
Egyptian actress Soheir Ramzy expressed her frustration over the increasing violence in Egypt, in an exclusive interview with Arab Today
.
Although the actress affirmed she has no relations with politics, she still felt disheartened at the way things were escalating in the country.
"Terrorist groups are to blame for the current insecurity in Egypt," Soheir said. "Such violence is not what any relegation calls for, be it Islam or any other. So those behind this are not really Muslims."
"If the ruling regime continues like this, they will destroy Egypt" the actress disclosed.
Talking more about her career, Soheir blamed the deteriorating political situation as the core reason for delays in her television series hitting screens.
Regarding the campaign adopted by a number of media channels to boycott Turkish TV series, she praised the step, describing it as "necessary" to express refusal against the interference of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdo?an
in the internal affairs of the country.
She praised the decision adopted by Egyptian authorities to impose a curfew, stressing that it paves way for "besieging criminals who are involved in violent actions."
