Al Qasba, Sharjah's premier tourist, leisure and family destination, is hosting the first ever "Great Vegas Circus” – a truly unique show that promises to offer audiences a fun and magical atmosphere until May 30.
Organised by Eventoh Exhibition Management Company, the event will hold two-hour performances at 6pm and 9pm daily except Sundays.
The "Great Vegas Circus”, one of the world's top circuses, connects with progressive, upwardly mobile and urban pop cultures from around the world. It embraces and celebrates both the individual and familiar aspects of global cultures within a stellar production that combines circus performances, art, theatre and music.
With its attractive blend of creativity and international spirit, the circus includes a high wire, silly clowns, single trapeze acts, and apache arrows, as well as grand illusions, white lions, hand balance acts, perch acts, and the giant King Kong.
Speaking about the event, Ahmed Obeid Al Qaseer, COO of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), said, "The circus offers an awe-inspiring experience and fun-packed environment for visitors due to its energetic and exhilarating shows. The circus promises to be an unmatched experience of joy and excitement, and we are certain there will be something for everyone. We look forward to sharing this wonderful experience with our visitors.”
Al Qaseer added, "Hosting the world's popular Great Vegas Circus comes as part of our efforts to create an enjoyable tourist and leisure environment at international standards, given that the emirate of Sharjah has become a vibrant centre for festivals and entertainment within a meaningful and dedicated cultural and artistic framework. The Great Vegas Circus is organised in line with Al Qasba's strategy to enhance its permanent presence on the event calendar as one of the major tourist and leisure destinations for families in the UAE.”
Performed by world-acclaimed artists and performers with exceptional skills, the Great Vegas Circus features an extensive array of performances, impressive acrobatic dances and thrilling shows that promise to make it a day to remember for visitors.
Tickets for the circus are sold at the circus entrance, and are available in four categories: Diamond (Dhs200), Gold (Dhs150), Silver (Dhs100) and Bronze (Dhs75).
Al Qasba boasts a range of state-of-the-art facilities and tourist attractions including various restaurants and cafes, the 250-seat Masrah Al Qasba Theatre, Multaqa Al Qasba Conference and meeting halls, Al Qasba Business Centre, Kids Fun Zone, Al Qasba Musical Fountain, Eye of the Emirates Wheel, and the Maraya Art Centre.
