Dominique Hourani
Lebanese singing sensation Dominique Hourani denied to ‘Arabstoday’ that she had gone to Egypt to show off her body, as it was said after her role in the film ‘El-Beh Romanci’ or ‘Mr. Romantic’.
She later explained
that she accepted the role to show her talent as an actress, saying “some feel jealous of my success and then they have tried to attack me.”
She also confirmed that she got a lot of offers from Egyptian filmmakers but she preferred to be careful in selecting her next movie, adding that she will visit Cairo soon and will meet the Egyptian film producer Mohammed El-Sobki.
Hourani revealed that she wrote a new sentimental song that talked about longing for a lover, which has been composed by Hossam Khouri. Hourani will soon start shooting the video for the song in Lebanon.
She also revealed that she was preparing to launch a due with a European singer, but refused to divulge details.
Hourani also explained why her husband, who is a Moroccan businessman, refused to show their daughter’s photos, saying: “He was worried our privacy would be violated...he also feared the mafia who are known to blackmail and extort rich families.”
About her divorce rumours, Hourani said: “I have not been separated from my husband, but he works outside Lebanon and does not like appearing in media.”
“But, this might disturb rumour-mongers, but I’ve never cared about them,” she added.
