The Khawater al-Zalam group The Khawater al-Zalam group were crowned the winners of MBC’s Arabs Got Talent on Friday, marking the end of its second season. Winners will be awarded a prize of 500,000 Saudi riyals ($133,000).
With its distinguished panel of judges that included famed journalist Ali Jaber, singer Najwa Karam and prominent actor Nasser al-Kassabi, the second season of Arabs Got Talent, which kicked off in April, 2012, gathered talents in different fields from all over the Arab world.
The show proved very successful and highly popular in the region. Millions of viewers held their breath as the competition got heated on MBC4, a channel part of MBC group, while the participants performed on air.
