Actress Lamita Franjieh
Lebanese actress Lamita Franjieh has revealed to Arabstoday why she took a break from the cinema screen. Lamita disclosed that she wanted to make films with purpose and a message, in order to be remembered by the
public as a true artist with talent and varied acting capabilities.
She made her return to the silver screen co-starring alongside Egyptian actor Mohammad Karim in the film "Facebook Romance," travelling to America to gauge public reaction to its release there. A typical Rom-Com, the film’s plot revolves around the intertwining lives of an Egyptian man who lives and works in Jordan and a Jordanian girl from America; amusing mishaps and meet-cutes ensue.
