Egyptian actress Ayten Amer
Egyptian actress Ayten Amer, expressed her happiness about the various characters she will play in some of the Ramadan Series this year. She said that she is waiting for the screening
of her latest two movies, "Hassal Khier" (Everything is OK) and "Harag W Marag" (Chaos and Fuss), ruling out that the movies will fail to attract viewers during this period because the great attention people are paying is for the presidential elections.
On the second season of the series "Keid el-Nessa" (Women's Plots), Amer told Arabstoday, that the series will keep going in the same direction as the first season, which had already achieved much success.
On the characters she will play in the three series next Ramadan, Amer said that the three characters are totally different from one another.
Amer said, in 'Keid el-Nessa', I play the role of a rich and prosperous girl, in 'Kika Al Aali' (Name of an Egyptian child game), I play the role of a very poor girl who endures very hard and tragic conditions, while in 'al-Zouga al-Rabaa' (The Fourth Wife), I also play the role of a poor girl, who marries a rich man in order to enjoy a better life. I think that each character is different from one another".
The actress also revealed that she is about to finish filming her new movie "Harag W Marag", which is expected to be screened in the season of "Eid el-Fitr".
Amer added:"The movie discusses a lot of political and social issues , particularly the hidden communities of minors, who live concealed within the Egyptian community".
About the other movie "Hassal Khier", which is already filmed, Amer said she is uncertain about the release date of this movie, as this decision is for the producer Ahmed al-Sobki to make, stressing that she doesn't play the character of a belly dancer as reported, and that the movie will not be similar to the film"Sharei al-Haram" (al-Haram Street).
On reports about a dispute between her and the Lebanese singer Amar, who stars in the same movie, Amer denied the story. However she admitted that there was minor tension between them over the recordings of the movie's songs, but she insisted that this didn't turn into a dispute.
When she was asked about the possibility of a decline in movies for the summer season due to the influence of the presidential elections, Amer ruled out this prospect, saying that: "the peolple always search for culture, joy and fun in order to get away from the political problems".
On the presidential candidate she had voted to, Amer said: "I voted for Aboul Fotouh, because I was convinced of his ideals and proposals".
