Moroccan singer Abdel Fattah Greeny
Moroccan singer Abdel Fattah Greeny has finished filming episodes of the second season of his show Coke Studio, which aims to blend Eastern Arab music with Western music by hosting an Arab artist with a Western artist.
Greeny told Arabstoday “I'm done with filming the second season of the programme in the United Arab Emirates, and it’s full of surprises, including the emergence of tycoon Arab singer Kazem El Saher, and also a duet between Sherine Abdel Wahab and the American rapper, Nelly."
Greeny confirmed that he would like to appear as a host in the programme but avoid appearing as a singer.
"In the 10 episodes of this season we host including a large number of Arab singers” Greeny said, “Sherine, Hamaki and Karaoke band from Egypt, Waad from Saudi Arabia, Kazem Al Saher from Iraq, and Carol Sakr from Lebanon will all feature.”
Greeny concluded his remarks by saying, "by the end of the season we will present a ‘best of’ in which there will be a surprise that I can’t reveal yet.”
Greeny has contracts with Platinum Records and MBC channels, and is currently preparing his fourth musical album.
