Tawazun to feature innovative solutions

Tawazun - the strategic investment firm devoted to the development of the UAE s industrial sector with a focus on defines manufacturing - is getting ready to highlight its advanced defines manufacturing initiatives and products at Eurosatory, the world's largest exhibition of Land and Air-land Defence and Security, which will take place from 16th to 20th June 2014 in Paris.
Tawazun s presence at the show, which will be part of the U.A.E.. Pavilion, will display U.A.E..-made products by a number of its group companies.
"As one of the leading defines exhibitions in the world, Eurosatory represents an excellent opportunity for us to present our innovative and highly advanced defines and homeland security solutions to the world," said Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri, Chief Executive officer of Tawazun, who will be heading the company s delegation at the show.
Along with Tawazun, the U.A.E.. pavilion at Eurosatory will include Mubadala, Thuraya, Emirates Advanced Investments (EAI), Sofia Trading, IDEX and the Nation Shield Journal.
"We are fortunate to be part of a large U.A.E.. pavilion at Eurosatory. Whilst showcasing our different products and services, we will work together to demonstrate the economic and industrial progress and to promote the attractive investment climate in the U.A.E..," added Al Hajeri.
Saif Ali Al Marzooqi, Associate Director, Corporate Communications revealed that among the items on display at the Tawazun stand are two U.A.E.-made Nimr vehicles, manufactured by Nimr Automotive. One vehicle is on display on the U.A.E.. pavilion and the other is taking part in the daily live demonstrations outdoors.
Among the Tawazun Holding debutants at the show is Tawazun Dynamics which is a joint venture between Tawazun Holding and the Dynamics division of South Africa's largest defines manufacturer, Denel. Tawazun Dynamics operates from its Abu Dhabi-based facility for the development, manufacture, assembly and integration of precision-guided systems for conventional air munitions.
"We are looking forward to taking the stand visitors and delegations through our latest products and new development plans," he said.
Eurosatory is the world leader tradeshow in the domain. In 2012, the show's exhibitor number increased by 9.3%, with 53 countries and International Organisations represented and over 450 new products were officially presented.
The event also attracted visitors from 130 different countries, including 152 official delegations from 87 countries.
