There is a trend dominant among businessmen to increase investments in Sudan
The board of directors at the Arab Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture are in continual meetings as Sudan bets on increasing investment through Arab resources
, especially agriculture.
The General Secretary of the Board of Saudi Chambers, Dr. Fahd Sultan, said that the volume of trade between Saudi Arabia and Sudan exceeded 3 billion Saudi Riyals this year.
He stated that the increase comes in the period of economic integration between the two states. He also reiterated that Sudan is a main source of food security to Saudi Arabia.
The General Director of the Arab Organisation for Industrial Development, Dr Talaat Bin Dhafer the head of delegation of Sabek Company participating in the meetings of the chamber, said in a press release that the symposium titled “Food Security Horizons in the Arab world” due to be held next Wednesday will focus on mechanisms of filling the food gap in the Arab world.
The deputy manager of the Commerce and Industrial Chamber of Saudi Arabia said that there is a trend dominant among Saudi businessmen to increase investments in Sudan, especially in agriculture.
