DNOC Distribution yesterday announced the opening of the Al Weshah service station at Al Zaid City in Sharjah, marking an important milestone in enhancing the operational capacity of the company's network and building upon its expansion plans.
Rashed Abdullah Mehyan, member of the Advisory Council of Sharjah, officially inaugurated the 40,000 sq. feet facility on Al Madam road in the presence of Mohamad Hassan Al Zaabi, Vice President, Retail Sales in Northern Emirates, ADNOC Distribution, as well as senior government and private sector officials.
Fitted with six fuel dispensers, Al Weshah service station offers round-the-clock allied services, including oil change and the distribution of a wide range of lubricants and LPG cylinders. The facility also features an ADNOC Oasis store, fast food restaurant and a bakery.
ADNOC Distribution is continuously working to enhance its network of service stations across the emirate of Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi City, Western Region and Al Ain), Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Qaiwain and Ras Al Khaimah.
The company currently operates 300 service stations. The opening of new stations and refurbishment of several acquired stations are projected to take the total number of ADNOC Distribution's service stations to 400 by 2016, nearly two-fold increase from the company's 180 service stations in 2010.
