Algerian national team coach Vahid Halilhodži?
In an interview with Arabstoday, Algerian national team coach Vahid Halilhodži? expressed his pleasure with the Algeria vs Libya match at the Mohammed V court in Casablanca, Morocco. The match is one
of the final matches in the qualifying stage for the 2013 African Cup to be held in South Africa.
The coach stressed he closely watches the preparations of his players, especially the main players which he sees as the key to the qualification against the Libyan team he describes as "strong and ought to be considered. The Libyan team lead by its coach Abdelhafidh Erbish improved its performance considerably during the last year. Their activity in the Arab Nations Cup and loss by penalties before morocco is only proof of this."
He said the scheduling will not allow him to schedule a preparation before the match, so he will have to depend on the more physically prepared players since most championships are determined in their first rounds.
Defence remains the main obstacle causing Halilhodži? to worry especially in the absence of team leader Majid Bougherra who had an operation on his leg two weeks ago and would not resume training for two weeks more.
