Moroccan authorities are concerned about violence in football stadiums
Casablanca - Said Ali

Moroccan authorities are concerned about violence in football stadiums Moroccan security officials have organised a two-day seminar to discuss the topic of violence in sports stadiums. The event, set to take place at the Royal Institute of Police headquarters in Kenitra on June 11-12, will bring together representatives from relevant government departments and civil organisations, along with media organisations and sporting officials.
The seminar's theme is: "Providing national security in the sporting world."
Delegates will analyse the various forms of violence encountered in sporting arenas, and consider its causes. Moroccan authorities are hoping to learn from national and international experts about countering intolerance and violence in sport, especially during football matches.
During the two days, security personnel will carry out presentations detailing security arrangements at previous sporting events in Morocco and France. They will also hold a debate with youth organisations on how to curb violence in the future.
