Al-Ahly reportedly want £3m for Gedo's permanent transfer to Hull
London - Umar Farooq

Al-Ahly reportedly want £3m for Gedo's permanent transfer to Hull Egyptian striker Mohamed Nagy Gedo made it five goals in as many games for Hull City as the Tigers beat English Championship strugglers Birmingham City at the KC Stadium. The 28-year old, on loan from Egyptian Premier League outfit al-Ahly said he feels settled at Hull and wants to continue his footballing career in England beyond the loan spell which ends in May.
Gedo scored his opener in the 11th minute when he chased down a long ball from David Meyler and beat Blues’ defender Steven Caldwell, before coolly slotting past goalkeeper Jack Butland.
His second goal came late in the game, when he headed home a superb right-wing cross from fellow countryman Ahmed Elmohamady.
Meanwhile, Gedo's impressive form has caught the eye of Hull boss Steven Bruce who is believed to be keen on signing the striker on a permanent deal.
According to British newspaper Daily Mirror, Ahly want £3 million for the frontman, and the player himself is hopeful that a deal can be agreed.
"I want to delight the Hull fans who have supported me since I came to England. I am having a great life here and I want to continue my career in Hull and hope not to go back to Egypt now. I have a big need to score more goals for this coach, who has shown so much faith in me, and this team," said Gedo.
