Al-Ahly striker Emad Moteab Cairo - Hossam al-Sayyed Al-Ahly striker Emad Moteab has hinted at leaving the Egyptian club in January after declaring that he is not happy with the lack of games. In an interview with Arabstoday, Moteab said the suspension of the Egyptian Premier League and differences in opinion with the management are reasons for potential departure. "I want to play in matches, which is normal for any player who seeks his opportunity in the starting eleven,” he said. He added that although he has an excellent relation with everyone at the club, being left out of the team has been a frustrating aspect. "Hossam al-Badrawi is the manager and he has the first and last say in who plays matches, but, as a professional player, I have the right to feel sad when I am match fit and not picked," he explained. Moteab, who was sidelined with a back injury, returned to find himself out of the side, despite proving his fitness."My frustration with not playing does not mean that I’m jealous of my teammates, because, thank God, I have a good relationship with everyone. I am around and train hard. My form is being praised by everyone, but the decision comes down to the manager,” he continued. The striker believes that the suspension of the Egyptian Premier League is "harmful" because football is a source of income for millions of people. He has not received any transfer offers, but is open to the idea of moving on to progress and break into the national team. Moteab thinks it will be an "honour" to team up with former national team coach Hassan Shehata at Qatari club Al-Arabi. "Any talk is premature and only when the offers are there, I will study them in accordance with my and the club’s interests,” he said. The 29-year old scored five Goals in eight games in the uncompleted 2011/12 season.
