Tunisian Football Federation
Tunis - Mohamed Saleh

Tunisian Football Federation The players and officials of Club Sportif Sfaxien (CSS) and Club Athlétique Bizertin (CAB) have accused each other of match fixing in the aftermath of their 2-2 draw. The accusations levelled were aimed in particular against CAB, with claims that bribes had been offered to CSS players for them to lose the game. This, in turn, sparked the wrath of CAB officials.
It’s not the first time these accusations have reared their head but, in the past, there has been no involvement from the authorities. However, after the Tunisian revolution things have changed and, this time, the Tunisian Ministry of Youth and Sports has stepped in.
Regarding the matter, the Ministry stated that it has referred the matter to the pertinent judicial authorities in order to for them to take appropriate action.
The Tunisian University of Football called for the necessary legal action to be taken, so that the matter is fully investigated fully, and for the public authority to be informed of the investigation’s results.
