Barakat has played over 170 games for Al-Ahly
Cairo - Hossam Al Said

Barakat has played over 170 games for Al-Ahly Egyptian winger Mohamed Barakat says he is willing to sign a contract at Al-Ahly without any financial demands. The 36-year old has been discussing his contract with senior officials at the club and says his relationship with Ahly fans and the administration is a key factor in his decision to stay.
There were strong rumours in the Egyptian media that Barakat has been told to leave Cairo International Stadium by Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry. However, the stories have been denied by Ahly's marketing officials, who say that the club will renew player contracts in the next few weeks.
Speaking to reporters, Barakat refuted claims that he told Ahly's administration to allow him to present television shows as an additional source of income, adding that he understands the club's desire for him to concentrate on playing for Ahly.
Barkarat also said that he would happily leave Ahly, in the best interests of the club, because playing for the Egyptian team is "not about money."
The right-sided midfielder, who announced his retirement from the game after the Port Said stadium disaster last February, reversed his decision in March.
