Ahly face Congolese side AC Leopards on August 31 Casablanca – Said Ali Senior officials of Egyptian football club al-Ahly have written to the Egyptian Football Federation requesting that their upcoming African Champions League games are moved to Morocco , due to the political uncertainty at home.
Sources in Morocco have claimed that Ahly chiefs have called on their national football association to write to its Moroccan counterpart with the request.
The Cairo giants are expected to host Congolese side AC Leopards in Egypt on August 31, but the game could be in doubt due to the tense political situation following the ouster of Islamist president Mohammed Morsi.
