Abu Bakr al Siddiq battalion in the western region praised victories achieved by the General Command of Libyan Armed Forces on the terrorist groups in the city of Benghazi.

The President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, announced he will meet with Chairman of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Al-Sarraj, in the European Union headquarters in Brussels, next Thursday, and will be followed by a joint press conference.

It is scheduled that Al-Sarraj will meet, next Thursday, with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, European High Representative for Foreign Policy Federica Mogherini, to discuss the illegal immigration file.

The Libyan's political reactions varied after signing an executive order that banned travel into the United States for citizens from seven countries. The ban includes Libya. This decision was seen by some as expected, others considered it represents racial discrimination and in contrary to human rights.

Spokesman for Libyan interim government, Abdul Hakim Ma'touq described the the recent US decision as a "sovereign decision we cannot challenge it."

"We cannot claim any state not to make such kind of precautionary decision and measures, especially with the lack of security in Libya , but we cannot even issue a statement denouncing or condemning Trump's decision, as long as we cannot be as unite in Libya", Ma'touq said.

The Foreign Minister in the Government of National Accord, Mohamed Al-Taher Siala, described the precautionary measures that restrict the entry of citizens of a number of countries, including Libya, to the US territory, do not match with international laws, conventions and the US Constitution. He stressed that these actions represent a racial discrimination based on religion.

Meanwhile, a member of the Libyan political dialogue team, Ashraf Al-Shoh described Washington's decision, to ban Libyan nationals from traveling to America, a decision is considered, as inapposite, which is interpreted by the US protests against the decision and a US court stopped its execution.
