ISIS extremist group targeted military sites controlled by the governmental troops near the village of Al-Mazyouna south of the Military Airport of Jarah with a car bomb. The attack led to the killing of 22 persons. Meanwhile, Members of the extremist group managed to destroy a tank of government forces in the area.
In Aleppo, the opposition factions were able to seize the "14.5" machine gun during a successful infiltration into the positions of government forces in the Southern countryside, as Jamala village witnessed an artillery attack from the governmental troops.
Extremist elements loyal to ISIS extremist group managed to destroy a tank possessed by the governmental forces in the village of Khawalda east of the city of Dirhafer in the eastern countryside after being targeted with a guided missile. Six persons, including four children, had been killed in Aleppo Province, on Wednesday, due to air strikes, raids and sniper fire, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
The observatory stated that an air strike on the Islamic State-held Maskana town, in the eastern countryside of the city of Aleppo, killed a youth, while air raids on Sem al-Hamam Village, in eastern Aleppo, resulted in the killing of four children. Furthermore, another youth was killed by a sniper fire in eastern Aleppo, near the borders with the city of Raqqa, the observatory added.
Syrian Air Force warplanes bombarded areas in the northern and eastern country sides of Homs, while Syrian regime forces fired more than 30 rockets on areas, in eastern Ghouta of Damascus.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that Syrian Air Force warplanes bombarded areas in Taldou District, in Houla area, in the northern countryside of Homs, while carried another air strikes on al-Sokhna city and al-Shumareya Mountains in the eastern countryside of Homs.
The self-proclaimed Islamic State group shelled al-Qossour neighborhood, late yesterday, while clashes broke out between Syrian regime forces and the terrorist group in the vicinity of a military air base, a war monitor reported on Saturday.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) stated that a man was killed in al-Qossour neighborhood due to mortar shelling by the Islamic State on the area.
Meanwhile, army warplanes bombed several areas in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, late yesterday, but no casualties had been reported.
Also, clashes broke out between the Syrian government forces and the Islamic State militants in the areas of al-Haweka, al-Rasheediyah and Deir Ezzor Military Airbase, after the terrorist group attacked the area.
According to the observatory, more than 320 thousand persons died in the conflict since popular protests demanded President Bashar al-Assad to step down in 2011, before expanding to a wider war between government forces, extremist militias and international powers including the U.S.-led coalition, Russia, Iran and Turkey.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, on Saturday, that Syrian government forces shelled areas in the city of Salamiyah, in eastern Hama, while pointed out that coalition aircraft struck Raqqa and army warplanes bombarded the southeastern countryside of Damascus.
The observatory stated that Syrian government forces shelled, yesterday, several arreas in the western countryside of Salamiyah City, in eastern Hama, but no casualties were reported.
Meanwhile in Raqqa, aircraft of the US-led international coalition struck areas in the northern outskirts of the city, the main stronghold of the Islamic State in Syria, without resulting in any casualties.
In Damascus, several pro-government forces fighters were either killed or wounded in an air strike carried out by the army warplanes on al-Dakwa area, in the southeastern countryside of Damascus.
