Anbar’s Local Council revealed that Iraqi special forces have been sent to the province’s border areas to counter ISIS attacks, calling the military leadership to liberate the western side of Anbar and to fully secure the borders.

The Council’s member Taha Abdel Ghani said that Anbar Operations leadership sent special forces to support the border Police forces to prevent any potential attacks from any terrorist groups. He stressed that the extremist attacks aim to underline the group’s criminal capabilities and to cover their consecutive defeats in Mousl. He called the military forces for taking serious actions to liberate the province from the extremist elements.

Robert Jones, Deputy Commander of the Strategic Affairs and support of the international coalition, during a news briefing in London that the ongoing military operations in Mosul, Iraq and Syria in ISIS introduced tenderness at the stage of deflation, and that “no longer have any constituents to hold out or change the tip.

He added that the Alliance is developing tools to address this type of aircraft, but he refused to disclose this type of technology.
