About 33 persons have been killed during an air raid thought to be launched by the International Coalition led by the U.S against a school used as a shelter for the displaced persons near Raqqa’s town of Mansoura controlled by the extremist ISIS group.

According to activists, the air raid has been conducted on early Wednesday. Director of Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Ramy Abdel Rahman said, “We can confirm the killing of 33 persons during the raid that targeted a school near Raqqa’s town of Mansoura.

He added, in a press statement, “The dead bodies are still lifted from under the rubble, saying that they found only two persons alive.

In the same context, He added that the raids of governmental air forces still continue against the strongholds of armed opposition in the areas of clashes near the Syrian capital of Damascus, including Jober district.

According to other opposition sources, the targeted school was sheltering over 50 displaced families, adding that Raqqa is slaughtered in silence.

On the other hand, residents of Damascus’ district of Jober revealed that the Syrian governmental fighter jets launched over 30 air raids since early Wednesday. Sources in the Syrian opposition revealed that the governmental troops launched artillery attack against the sites controlled by the Syrian opposition in Saqba, Homoria and Arbeen in addition to Qabon.

Clashes continued between the Syrian governmental troops in the surrounding areas of spinning plants, power station and the Crash plant. Sources revealed that the opposition militias shelled residential areas in Barza, Shaghour, Bab Toma, and Jermana, as they led to the killing and injury of over 25 persons.

They added that the militants managed to kill a number of governmental troops and the other militants working with them. Saying that the opposition in Syria is committed to the rules of International Humanitarian Law, stressing their keenness to protect the civilian people, diplomatic missions and the buildings related to the foreign embassies.
