Hertz and Qatar Airways have partnered to provide the airline’s passengers worldwide the ability to book Hertz rental vehicles through a new booking platform. The convenient online solution will offer full global rental options, as well as the ability to book Hertz rentals in either local or destination currency. Michel Taride, president, Hertz International, said: “We are delighted to partner with Qatar Airways to deliver Hertz global car rental services via the easily accessible online travel booking engine provided to their customers. “We share Qatar Airways’ commitment to harness the latest innovations to improve speed, efficiency and simplicity in the travel process.” The new agreement is the result of a three-year partnership which reinforces the existing relationship between Hertz, the world’s most powerful car rental brand, and Qatar’s national carrier, which links 113 international destinations from its base in Doha, using a fleet of 106 aircraft. Qatar Airways chief executive Akbar Al Baker said: “We are pleased to be offering our passengers an additional service option which provides ease, flexibility and convenience to book rental cars with Hertz. “And our Privilege Club members have even more options for taking advantage of Hertz promotions for short breaks or holidays year-round.” Streamlining the travel process, passengers can now go to qatarairways.com to select and book car rentals from any of Hertz’s 8,500 locations in 150 countries, making their choice from a wide range of makes and types in a global fleet of more than 500,000 vehicles. Qatar Airways is considered as offering the World’s Leading Airline Business Class by the World Travel Awards.
