HM the King's Personal Representative, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Bahrain International Airshow (BIA), HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today presided over the first meeting of the BIA Organizing Committee, in the presence of Transportation Minister, Acting CEO of Economic Development Board.
HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will patronize the BIA fourth version on 21-23 Dec 2016.
HM the King's Representative hailed Bahrain's international standing and achievements made in previous BIA versions, highlighting HM the King's unlimited support.
He directed intensifying promotion and marketing locally, regionally and internationally for the most important event of its kind in Bahrain, addressing invitations to leading official personalities and delegations from Arab and friendly countries, attracting major military and civil aviation industry companies, in addition to providing facilities for participating companies and visitors to reflect Bahrain's prestigious image in the industry of aviation shows.
He invited Bahrain's ministries, authorities and institutions to participate in the 2016 BIA and to concert efforts to make the event successful.
He was briefed on logistic strategies and programmes the BIA Organizing Committee have made for hosting the 2016 Bahrain International Airshow.
