Interior Ministry, Egyptian Tourism Federation sign cooperation protocol

Tourism Minister Hesham Zazou on Tuesday witnessed a signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the General Department of Tourism and Antiquities Police of the Interior Ministry and the Egyptian Tourism Federation.
The cooperation protocol aims to establish an electronic system to link the tourism sector with the bodies concerned of the Interior Ministry to secure the tourism movement.
The minister said that the protocol comes within a plan to strengthen measures taken to secure tourists in cooperation with the competent authorities.
It also affirms the government's full support for the tourism industry, he added.
