Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain has introduced Cargospot- a fully modernised cargo management system. Cargospot is a fully integrated end-to-end cargo management solution to manage the airline’s cargo business - from booking, pricing, sales to accounting - providing enhanced services for both- clients and Gulf Air. Announcing the go-live of the new system, Gulf Air Senior Manager Cargo Mr. Rory Black said, “The introduction of Cargospot is a key development at Gulf Air cargo as we aim to aggressively expand our cargo operations as well as deliver a consistently better customer service and improved reliability.“The new system is more user friendly than our previous one. It will enable our customers with easier cargo bookings and planning capabilities thus allowing them to choose the most appropriate flights to fly their cargo directly with us.” Dr Jassim Haji, Gulf Air Director Information Technology, added: “This is another accomplishment for Gulf Air as we strive to offer end-to-end business solutions through deployment of innovative technologies that will support our business units.
