Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El Sisi, now visiting here, received on Tuesday Chairman of France’s national state-owned railway company Guillaume Pepy.
The president underlined aspirations for benefiting from the French experience in the domain training and dangers assessment along with upgrading railways networks, said Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Alaa Youssef.
The meeting took up efforts exerted by Egypt for developing the railways system and plans outlined by the Egyptian Ministry of Transport for enhancing the signals and operation systems, added the spokesman.
The French official, for his part, expressed satisfaction over his meeting with the president. He highlighted his company's keenness on boosting joint cooperation in the coming phase, added the spokesman.
