Dubai Airports voted world best Aviation, Transport Company

Dubai Airports, operator of Dubai International was voted the Aviation and Transport Company of the Year at the Gulf Business Awards 2017, announced at an evening ceremony held in Dubai on September 10.

The Gulf Business Awards acknowledge achievement by companies and business leaders in nine different industries, including aviation and transport, banking, healthcare, energy, technology, real estate, media and marketing, retail, and tourism and hospitality. There are also awards given across other special categories to recognise innovation and CSR. This year, a new award, Happiness and Positivity Company of the Year, also made its debut.

The awards are judged by an independent panel comprising industry leaders and there is also a public voting component to how the awards are made.

Dubai Airports was chosen from a shortlist of the region’s top five aviation and transport companies. It received the award in recognition of its leadership and massive contribution to the growth of the aviation industry not just in the UAE, but across the 240 international destinations that it connects through its two airports.
