Cruise Ship 'Costa Romantica' visited Salalah port yesterday with 1,333 passengers on board, including 735 tourists as part of the tourism programme launched around the world. The tourism programme includes visits to the most important archeological and historic landmarks in the governorate of Dhofar, besides visiting the beaches and traditional markets in the Wilayat of Salalah. It is worth mentioning that 21 cruise ships have visited Salalah Port since the beginning of this year with 17,193 tourists on board. Last year, 29 cruise ships with 31,283 tourists had visited the port. Costa Romantica is coming from Safaja Port in Egypt and heading to Port Sultan Qaboos in the Governorate of Muscat. It is also expected to visit the Khasab Port in the Governorate of Musandam. Times of Oman
