Belgrade - ANSA

Directors of four airline companies from the territory of former Yugoslavia reached an agreement in Budva (Montenegro) as regards the joint use of planes but they also said they would not set up a single company. The meeting was attended by the directors of the Serbian JAT airline, Croatia Airlines, Slovenian Adria Airways and Montenegro Airlines. JAT Director General Vladimir Ognjenovic told reporters that the cooperation would bring benefits to all four companies and passengers who would be able to reach their destinations more easily and at lower costs. Director General of Croatia Airlines Srecko Simunovic said that regional airlines do not compete mutually and that every mode of cooperation is more than welcome. President of Slovenian Adria Airways Klemen Bostjancic believes that airline companies need to cooperate because they all suffer from similar problems. (ANSAmed)
