Egyptian actor Ahmad Bedir said “Saa Wa Nous” (An Hour and a Half) is one of the most important films in Egyptian cinema this year. In an exclusive interview with Arabstoday, he said the film is not traditional to the films already in the Egyptian cinema scene. The film actually takes place in an hour and a half and covers all major issued faced by Egyptians, he said. The film casts a substantial amount of well known stars, all of whom portray an important and powerful message in just short scenes. “Saa Wa Nous” has 32 cast members; most notable are Sumaya al-Khashab, Fathy Abdel Wahab and Ahmed Azmy. It’s written by Ahmad Abdullah and directed by Wael Ihsan.
