ABC Family's Shadowhunters has found its Simon and Isabelle.
The network announced Friday it has cast Alberto Rosende as Simon Lewis and Emeraude Toubia as Isabelle (Izzy) Lightwood.
The two join the only other casting choice announced so far, Dominic Sherwood as leading man Jace Herondale.
Simon is the lovable, nerdy best friend of Clary Fray -- still uncast -- who harbors an unrequited love for the leading lady. Izzy is a no-nonsense shadowhunter who knows her way around a whip and always falls for the bad boys.
Both Rosende and Toubia are relative unknowns. Rosende appeared in one episode of CBS' Blue Bloods and Toubia has had roles in a handful of Spanish-language television series.
The actors took to social media to express their excitement about the news.
"I am floored by the amount of excitement I feel coming from @ShadowhuntersTV fans. I can't wait to start this journey with you all!" Rosende wrote on Twitter.
"I am beyond excited to be playing Isabelle in Shadowhunters for ABC Family," Toubia said in a video post on the Shadowhunters Facebook page. "Thank you so much for the support."
