Lindsey Stirling has signed a new deal with Disney's Maker Studios.
The 27-year-old dubstep violinist's contract was up at Fullscreen, and manager Adina Friedman told Billboard it felt like "the right time to explore other potential partners." Maker Studios will allow Stirling access to production resources, and the company is an expert in digital monetization.
"Optimization and monetization resources along with brand integration partnerships are definitely very important," Friedman detailed. "We feel Maker is extremely proactive in this space and will be able to offer Lindsey the opportunity to help continue to grow her brand and be on the forefront of the digital space."
Stirling came to fame on NBC reality competition America's Got Talent in 2010. Her unique blend of classical violin and electronic music captivated audiences, and she became a YouTube sensation with over 5 million followers. Stirling released her first, self-titled studio album in 2012, and followed up with Shatter Me in April.
"Maker is extremely proactive and creative with their talent," the musician said. "With this partnership, I am one step closer to becoming a Disney princess!"
