Lifetime's Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story television movie released its first preview Thursday.
The clip takes place at a Saved by the Bell cast photo shoot and sees Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Alyssa Lynch) and Lark Voorhies (Taylor Russell) scuffle over Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Dylan Everett). Dustin Diamond (Sam Kindseth) and Mario Lopez (Julian Works) also get heated over a pushup competition before the whole cast begins arguing.
The movie is based on tell-all book Behind the Bell by Diamond, and aims to depict the real-life drama that went on behind the scenes of the beloved sitcom. Saved by the Bell aired on NBC from 1989 to 1993, and starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Zack Morris, Dustin Diamond as Samuel "Screech" Powers, Lark Voorhies as Lisa Turtle, Dennis Haskins as Richard Belding, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen as Kelly Kapowski, Elizabeth Berkley as Jessie Spano and Mario Lopez as A.C. Slater.
The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story stars Tiera Skovbye as Elizabeth Berkley in addition to Lynch, Russell, Everett, Kindseth and Works' characters. The movie is scheduled to air September 1 on Lifetime.
