Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Argentina’s new President Mauricio Macri in China on September 3 ahead of the G20 summit in Beijing, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said Tuesday.
Russian news agency Itar-Tass reported today that the meeting would be the first between the two leaders after Macri’s election in 2015. Earlier, Putin held a telephone conversation with his Argentinian counterpart. The two leaders agreed to meet on the sidelines of the G20.
