Dubai - Arab Today

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host an award ceremony on Tuesday to honour the winners of the 9th cycle of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, MRM, Business Award, and the 1st cycle of the MRM Business Innovation Award.

The ceremony will be attended by dignitaries, distinguished local and international top executives and business leaders. Businesses from the GCC region will be recognised for their outstanding performance and contribution to their respective economies.

The awards will cover several categories, including finance, services, construction, trade, re-export, transport and logistics, and manufacturing. Since their inception, the awards have been considered the highest level of recognition for attaining business and innovation excellence.

Hamad Buamim, President and CEO of Dubai Chamber, stressed the significance of the award programmes, which are crucial to the chamber’s quest to foster excellence and innovation within the business community in the UAE and GCC region.

He added, "We look forward to recognising some of the region’s top-performing companies, as well as businesses that are championing innovation within their organisations. We wish all of the participants the best of luck and congratulate them on their achievements."

A member of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the MRM Business Award was initiated in 2005 to recognise and celebrate the success of organisations that contribute to the sustainable economic development of the UAE and the wider GCC region
